When do I need to replace my RO filters.

At Lancaster Water Group we recommend whole home pre-treatment for all ROs to increase the lifespan of the filters. It is not necessary for the RO to operate properly but it can decrease the service frequency of the ROs. 

With proper whole home pre-treatment, Lancaster Water Group recommends the following replacement time frame. 

Membrane: 1-2 years

Pre-Filter: 1 year

Post-Filter: 1 year

In-Line Filter: 1 Year

Optional In-Line Filter for all ROs. 

Some customer's find that due to the lack of minerals in the water that the taste of RO water is not as robust as they would like. Lancaster does offer a optional In-Line Filter that can be added to systems without a current in-line filter or replace current in-line filters. This filters add minerals back into the water to enhance taste and flavor of the water.
